Mr. Cottontailas Chicken Run
There were three days until Sunday.
Peter glared at the calendar as if it had committed some horrible, unspeakable crime. Just three days. He slouched over and groaned, pulling his ears down over his eyes.
Okay, so maybe putting Easter off to the last minute hadnat been such a great idea after all. But, hey. He was only one rabbit. Did people really expect him to carry on, year after year, popping out eggs like a tennis ball machine? Well, of course they did! They took him for granted. Laying eggs was tough. Real tough. Most people just didnat get that.
People didnat expect the Pumpkin King to do everything by himself, did they? Oh, no. The guy had ghouls and witches and various other creatures of the night to help him scare the pants off people every Halloween.
And Cupid? Cupid had his handy-dandy love pixies that went around every Valentineas Day, shooting people with toxic love arrows left and right.
Santa probably had it the easiest, what with all those elves to do his dirty work. He was just the delivery boy, really, and as a reward for all the hard labor he didnat do, he got to taste delicious desserts all around the world. And what did the elves get? Nothing, by the looks of the Big Guyas stomach. Jolly Ola Saint Nick practically treated those elves like dirt. Worse than dirt, actually. He treated them likea
Slaves. Peter sat up suddenly, something like a smile crossing over his furry face. Of course! Why hadnat he thought of it before? It was a brilliant idea. Genius, really.
Butano. Peter frowned. No, he wasnat that kind of rabbit. Was he?
One more glance at the calendar told him, very clearly, that, yes. Yes, he was that kind of rabbit. He started to scramble around his rabbit den for supplies.
Two minutes later, he was standing at the mouth of his burrow, an empty sack thrown over his shoulder and a bunny pack, bulging with corn and several containers of Sandmanas All Natural Sleeping Dust, snapped securely around his waist.
Peter took a deep breath and hopped down the hill, towards Tomas poultry farm, nervous but more determined than head ever been before. He was a hare on a mission. He was ready for anything.
When he finally reached his destination, Peter didnat waste any time setting up his trap. After a few quick glances around to make sure nobody was looking, he set to work. Using his paws, he dug a hole, about as deep as he was high, near the opening of the chicken coop.
After head finished, he disguised the gap in the earth as best he could by carefully setting down a layer of very leafy tree branches. He made sure the branches were just barely long enough to cover the hole without actually falling in.
To camouflage the hole even more, he added another level of fallen leaves and clumps of grass. And, since he couldnat leave any sort of evidence to give away his trap, he used his feet to pack down the dirt left over from digging the hole until it was a small mound on the ground.
Finally, he set a pawful of corn from his pack on top of the trap and, with somewhat more enthusiasm than was necessary, dumped half a can of sleeping powder over the bait. Yeah, Peter thought, that should be enough.
He ran back to the borders of the farm and waited, watching his trap anxiously from the bushes.
It didnat take very long before his first unsuspecting victim, a rather plump coffee-brown hen, wondered right into his trap. The chicken pecked at the food, seemingly finding nothing wrong with it, and then, seconds later, collapsed through the roof of the trap and into the hole, asleep.
Peter burst from his hiding place with the kind of speed that would make a cheetah jealous, empty sack slung over his shoulder. He cast a quick look around to make sure no one was looking, grabbed the hen roughly by her neck, and slung her into the bag. Then he hurriedly set the trap back up and dashed back to the bushes, where he continued to play the waiting game.
Soon another chicken came by and fell for his trap. Peter ran out, threw her in the pack along with the other chicken, reset the trap, and went back to waiting. He repeated this process until he had six chickens in the sack. (He had gotten a seventh hen, but she wouldnat fit when head tried to cram her into the bag, so head tossed her back into the hole.)
Exhausted, Peter returned to his burrow at sunset with a sack full of snoring chickens and an overwhelming feeling of triumph. Head done it. Head actually done it. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips.
Head actually gone out and gotten himself someaahemahard laborers, and now head never have to lay an egg again. Ever. No, siree.
Peter could finally look at the calendar without cringing. Three days until Sunday?
He emptied the sack of sleeping chickens out on
to the floor of his den and rubbed his paws together. No problem, he thought. No problem at all.
The piston has a "Ex" on one side and "Om" on the other
i figured Ex meant exhaust but i wanted to double check first.
Just out of curiosity
what could the om mean?
i'm planning on buyin a arrow exhaust and was wondering how much it would cost to put that on a take the old 1 off ?
I'm writing a story/fanfic and I'd like your totally frank opinion on this piece, with suggestions (other than spelling). Thanks!
On her 20th birthday, her father gave her a complete set of Fairy Armor which he had bargained from the blacksmith, and, as was Hunter tradition, her mother took her on her first Adventure Hunt into dangerous territory. They trekked to the snowy wilderness of Heiharp, where the armored Penril lived. The Penril seemed intelligent, but were bent on killing all who ventured into their territory, so they were considered fair prey for adventurous warriors. Their bows at the ready, they had gone North.
Hours later, stained with Penril blood and somewhat battered themselves, they has stopped to rest and recoup. a?You know,a? her mother had said, a?No matter how many mindless monsters we kill in defense of our civilization, more always seem to be around the bend. The gates of hell are shut, so they must spawn in certain places more than others, otherwise they would be appearing near our town too. If a brave Hunter were to make it their mission to find and mark these places, then return with a party and destroy all near it, maybe they would stop coming there. Our race and all Haran would be done a great service. It would be a dangerous life, so we would need a highly skilled warrior.a?
Right then, Aura knew that she wanted to be that one. a?Mother,a? Aura said, a?I have been taught by the best and have high skills for my age. Maybe I am meant to do this.a? a?I can bring no objection,a? said her mother, a?except this one- I love you, and would fight through a multitude of monsters to save you if I knew you were in mortal danger, as you probably will be if you undertake this.a? a?Well, I love you too, more than I have told youa? said Aura. a?I am sorry.a? a?That's...a? her mother started to say, but was interrupted by the deafening roar of a huge Sasquatch as it spotted them and thudded toward them with open maw. a?Let's put our skills to task!a? Aura's mother said. Together, they they left the Sasquatch in several pieces within 10 seconds. An arrow whistled toward Aura from a nearby ridge. She blocked it, then shot at the crouching Penril hunter.
Running together, Aura and her mother went back South toward Denebe. Her mother stopped. a? Did you see that?a? she asked. a?That Penril Warrior just appeared out of nowhere. See, next to that stump.a? A Penril Fighter appeared 5 seconds later. Then a Sasquatch stepped out of the void. a?We found a spawning area!a? Aura exclaimed. a?Think we can take them?a? a?Feel up to it?a? her mother answered. Aura gave her enthusiastic affirmation. With a shrill shout that brought the icicles down on the startled creatures, they sped toward them, as fast as wind moving.
5 minutes passed, and many carcasses littered the ground. And still, the monsters cam. More than once, Aura's Fairy Armor saved her life from a blade or bolt. The sky began to darken, and howls came to their ears from over the frozen lake. a?Do you...do you think they'll stop coming?a? Aura asked between bowshots. a?I do not know. We need to disengage and run to safer territory as soon as we cana? her mother answered. Unknown to them the flashes from their spirit- powered skills were drawing attention in the gathering twilight.
More Sasquatch and Penril appeared, and not only that, but their hideous brethren from all around began to be aware of the conflict, and joined in. Aura's arms began to feel heavy, and their efforts to break out of the mob was exhausting their spirit. The slush beneath their feet began to be stained by their own blood as well as that of the monsters. a?A..Aura!a? her mother called. a?We must either break through now or die here.a? a?Not here nor now, mother!a? Aura shouted. They gained ground as they applied all their remaining strength to the saving of their lives.
More howls from the frozen lake reached their ears, and nearer too. Through the horde that blocked their way, a green glow appeared. Closer it came, and then a voice penetrated the noise surrounding them. a?2 Hunters in trouble. I never thought I'd see such a thing if the the stories I hear at the Loa tavern are anything to go by. As they paused their attack to see who spoke, an unseen arrow from a Penril struck Aura's mother in the side. With a shout of pain, she redoubled her attack and struck down a Penril Fighter with a single blow. A low chuckle came to them from a different direction. a?Don't you know how to block? Well, I would hate to see ones so graceful as you perish.a? With that, a blue-lion-creature leaped up from behind a Sasquatch and bit off its head. At the same time, a red-eyed Summoner with two glowing green blades burst through the Penril mobs and cleanly decapitated everything in his way.

Even though there was a slight hitch in their plan, a group of Boy Scouts who, while on their way to a national competition in Indiana, found themselves stranded in Atlanta, are now on their way. After exhausting all other options to find a flight that would get them to Indiana before 8 a.m. Sunday, the Scouts were able to rent a charter bus, which Delta will be covering the cost, said Carlos Santos, Delta spokesman.
Although they bought their plane tickets in April, the group of 30 Boy Scouts and their eight chaperones were forced to rent the bus Saturday afternoon when the airline overbooked their flight.
On their way to the National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) at Indiana University, the scouts and chaperones arrived in Atlanta shortly after 4 p.m. said Andrew Carranco, one of the chaperones.
They were supposed to fly directly to Indiana from San Antonio, but when they arrived at San Antonio International Airport, they were bumped from their flight.
Why? According to Carranco, their Delta flight was overbooked and they were being diverted to Atlanta.
a?When we got off the plane in Atlanta, we were told we should have never come here,a? he said.
According to Santos, it is rare that customers get bumped from flights.
a?Normally when that happens,a? he said, a?It is due to a number of issues. In the past few days there have been a number of thunderstorms in the northeast region and here in Atlanta that have caused flight delays and cancellations.a?
When the Scouts began planning for the trip, they intentionally purchased all 38 tickets under one personas name to ensure they would have no problems.
a?The boys have spent hours preparing for this competition and spent thousands of dollars in costuming,a? Carranco said. If they do not make it to Indiana by 8 a.m. Sunday morning, 21 of the 30 boys will be disqualified, he said.
Delta officials initially offered to put the group up in a hotel for the night and on a first thing in the morning. However, that wold have caused them to get to Indiana by 10 a.m. Sunday, Carranco said. That would have been too late.
The group tried feverishly to find other means of transportation. While Carranco was dealing with the Delta officials, another chaperone was on the phone with bus companies and the others were catering to the boys.
a?I have been extremely impressed with how well everyone has handled themselves,a? said Carranco. a?I have been doing this for awhile and have never seen everyone handle themselves so well.a?
They expect to arrive in Indiana around 3 a.m. The 611-mile trip is a nine and a half hour drive.

Ok so i have a haotian arrow 125 motorcycle (worst mistake i ever made) when it goes over 50 it vibrates and i loose nuts. Now, here is my problem... Last night i heard a blow on my exhaust, i stopped and checked it out and found the studs that hold the exhaust into the engine (i think its called the manifold) are borken. both of them. How do i fix it (if i dont take it to a mechanic to get it sorted) and how do i stop it from happening again.
I have a Peugeot Vivacity silversport 50cc.
My exhaust is fucked. i need a new one. my mate has an aprilia SR which he wants to sell for spares cz its fucked lol.
Will he Arrow exhaust fit on my peugeot?
hi, i have a honda nsr125 on a 00' plate but i was wondering if a honda cbr 125 exhaust system would fit onto a nsr or does anyone know any system that will fit the nsr thats not an arrow kit system?
I've got a '99 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6. I had the rear end replaced about 2 years ago because it was wearing out and grinding loudly (I heard all F-body rear differentials go bad after about 80-90k miles). The take-off rear end I replaced it with is going bad now as well (it was another F-body GM-made rear end, but I think the place I bought it from made a mistake with matching the gear ratio--my speedometer and odometer are both off ever since the replacement).
Ever since the mechanic replaced my rear differential, there has been a metallic "clunk" heard from the driver's side rear of the car whenever I'd hit a bump. At first it was only heard with larger bumps in the road. But over the last 2 years, it's been getting steadily worse, and now I can hear a "clunk" even when I roll over something as minor as one of those turn arrows on the asphalt that has been painted over many times. It's terrible when driving down the historic district of my town, where the roads are mainly brick. The rattling noise when driving on a brick road is practically louder than my car's custom exhaust!
I thought it might be either the shocks, lower control arm bushings, or a faulty install with the entire rear end. The original mechanic claims it was a good install, but of course he's going to say that. He also didn't see anything else wrong. I'll be taking in to another shop, but I wanted to hear some feedback from you guys about what you think it could be, and what you think I should expect to shell out for any parts and labor.
Thanks for any help you can offer! (If you need more details, post them and I'll add the details to my question)

a?Hold him down,a? he ordered. Rain pelted the top of his white helm. His soldiers exhausted from the ongoing struggle to hold the traitor down.
Their commander looked towards the blackened sky, his face covered by his helm, and smiled a smile of pure relief. His prey sat before him less than ten yards away, squirming to free himself from the twelve men and chains that held him down.
The commander turned to face the soldiers that stood in the stands of the Mountain Colony coliseum. Armor colors varied between: red, blue, brown, black, and yellow. He was the only one that stood dressed in all white, his armor sleek around his legs and arms and large on his shoulders and chest. A white cloak, baring the symbol of golden dragon wings, drug through the mud. At his side his axe hung, blood stained and battered from the recent battle. It was rather big to be a one handed axe, from point to point it nearly stretched a yard, its handle was crafted from the finest gold, and crafted into the blade the wings of a dragon.
Standing behind him were five soldiers, each wearing one of the five colors of the soldiers in the stands. He turned to face them.
a?Brave soldiers of the scale, long have we fought to keep peace throughout the land. For centuries it has been our duty to serve and protect the defenseless people. Each and every one of you in this coliseum today deserves to share in the glory about to be had,a? he points his armored finger toward the chained man, a?Daimen once proud leader of the Clan of Shadows and traitor to The Order of the Scale will die before you today.a?
Cheers thundered across the coliseum.
a?Silence,a? yelled the commander, a?We will have order at this execution.a?
The commander moved towards the chained man, whose head was covered with a black sack. Daimen still frantically tried to free himself from his chains.
a?It is no use Daimen,a? whispered the commander.
a?There never has been,a? spat Daimen, his voice full of hate, a?You hold me in chains, in front of my men, in front of my sun and for what.a?
a?You know damn well why. Attacking the humans, practicing in the dark arts, feeding off of souls, these are not the acts of a rider nut of a demon.a?
a?Then slay me demon slayer.a?
a?That I can promise you.a? He raised his axe and kicked Daimen on to his back.
An ear-piercing roar shook the coliseum.
a?No!a? cursed Daimen, a?I told you to stay away.a?
Through the clouds she emerged, almost hidden in the darkness. Her tail wagged angrily. Her wings flapped furiously and her jaw clicked with each flap of her wings. She galloped like a horse through the sky hoping for a quick land.
a?Shoot her down!a? yelled the commander, a?The last thing he will hear is the fall of his mighty dragon.a?
It wasnat long before an onslaught of spears and arrows purged the sky. They were extinguished by a black flame. Daimen rose to his feet, a?Turn around, save yourself!a? he yelled. She roared enraged. With both of her wings tucked in she fell out of the sky, like an arrow, shot from a bow of clouds.
a?Once more!a? yelled the commander. An agonizing roar filled the sky. She fell from her concentrated descent to a fall that would end her ancient life. Daimen released a scream at the top of his lungs. The soldiers that held him down struggled to keep him at bay. One of the soldiers lost the grasp he had on his chain. Daimen grabbed it and struck another soldier. He turned to face the other soldiers, whose faces were stricken with fear.
Draco released the chains, and gasped for air. He fell down to one knee. Down his left arm, drops of blood raced. This amused him, he laughed.
a?Remember boy!a? he yelled, a?Twenty!a?
He gasped once more and noticed more blood began to run down his right arm. The commander stood behind him, his axe bloodied and his hands tightened.
a?He will plague us no more!a? he yelled raising his axe high above his head. The soldiers cheered in response. a?Rest easy soldiers, for now that Daimen has been killed we can prepare for the upcoming Trials of the Scale.a? He turned to look at the sun, which had emerged from its clouded prison. a?Three years from now I expect to see you here to welcome the newest editions for your respected clans.a?
As the coliseum cleared, they made their presences known in the deepest bowels of his conscious.
a?Could you have done this without killing his dragon!a? the first voice yelled, a young womanas full of frustration and irritation.
a?I did as you asked my lady.a?
a?No commander,a? this voice a maleas, calm and relaxed, a?you killed one of the most powerful creatures ever to walk this earth.a?
a?Sire I only did what the council asked.a?
a?You will come before us and we will discuss your punishment,a? the last voice, also a woman, carried an elderly tone.
a?Yes my lady.a?
Wiping the blood off of his blade he headed toward the body of his deceased comrade. a?Worry not,a? he whispered into Daimenas ear, a?there are eighteen now.a?
Tom and John both live in town A. They decide to visit their old friend in town B but are taking separate routes. Tom will only take known paths and thus starts traveling on a road traveling due EAST. After 4 hours of walking, he comes to a cross road. A sign indicates that town A is now 3 miles away. The sign also shows an arrow for town B and its distance, 4 miles. Tom starts walking towards town B, which is due NORTH. After 6 more hours, he finally reaches town B.
John walks along a river. The river crosses both town A and town B in a straight line. John soon finds this route harder since he has to make his way through thick brush. After 10 exhausting hours, he finally reaches town B.
To the amazement of both Tom and John, they reach town B at the same time.
Question: a) How far did John have to walk (Hint-the distance between town A and B),
b) What was the speed of Tom AND John in mph?
Please help, I'm lost. I know the formula for distance and I know the directions are important but I don't seem to get it sorted out in my head...
Here is the poem:
The Immigrants by Margaret Atwood
They are allowed to inherit
the sidewalks involved as palmlines, bricks
exhausted and soft, the deep
lawnsmells, orchards whorled
to the landas contours, the inflected weather
only to be told they are too poor
to keep it up, or someone
has noticed and wants to kill them; or the towns
pass laws which declare them obsolete.
I see them coming
up from the hold smelling of vomit,
infested, emaciated, their skins grey
with travel; as they step on shore
the old countries recede, become
perfect, thumbnail castles preserved
like gallstones in a glass bottle, the
towns dwindle upon the hillsides
in a light paperweight-clear.
They carry their carpetbags and trunks
with clothes, dishes, the family pictures;
they think they will make an order
like the old one, sow miniature orchards,
carve children and flocks out of wood
but always they are too poor, the sky
is flat, the green fruit shrivels
in the prairie sun, wood is for burning;
and if they go back, the towns
in time have crumbled, their tongues
stumble among awkward teeth, their ears
are filled with the sound of breaking glass.
I wish I could forget them
and so forget myself:
my mind is a wide pink map
across which move year after year
arrows and dotted lines, further and further,
people in railway cars
their heads stuck out of the windows
at stations, drinking milk or singing,
their features hidden with beards or shawls
day and night riding across an ocean of unknown
land to an unknown land.
I was wondering if anybody could help me understand the metaphor "my mind is a wide pink map"... why is Atwood comparing her mind to a map? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
I know nothing about collecting but a friend of mine said there are people who might pay for really old toy cars. i tried finding places online to find out if it's worth anything but i couldn't find any.
it's a 1974 black...i want to say race car. i'm not sure of the make or model. there isn't any info on the bottom except the date and 'patent pending.'
it has bluish-green tinted windows and racing stripes along its sides and on the hood. the stripes are orange, yellow and gray and end in an arrow on the front of the hood. there's a small exhaust thingie on the hood too (sorry, i know nothing about cars!).
the wheels are black with gold rims and there are various logos on the sides. 'bell' 'goodyear' 'champion' and one that i think says 'union'. there's also a big #3 near both side doors in black with orange outlines.
if i were to give it an honest condition, i'd say poor to average. many of the words are partially rubbed off and the hood's paint is fading.
SO is it worth anything? i'm guessing no but i figured there's no harm in asking. he's got a bunch of these cars but i was able to find most of their worth's online except for this one. it's the oldest one.
Hi,
I posted this poem on the net a few years ago and largely forgot about it. Recently someone contacted me about it and I had another look at it. I would love some constructive feedback on it, as I never got any... the girl I wrote it for didn't really appreciate it. She thought I was insinuating that she was fat due to the last couple lines... thankyou in advance for any responses.
Cosmic Force
I was a lifeless planet, wandering through the dark,
And like a broken arrow, would never hit the mark,
Until I chanced upon your fire, and was captured by it's might,
And although I may still wander, you are never out of sight,
This you need not ponder, for as I turn upon my pole,
I know my other side, is heated by your soul.
Youave become my plantlife, fern, and flower and tree,
Youare my very Oceans, and each and every sea,
Youave become my wildlife, in the air and on the ground,
Where once there was no motion, life does now abound,
Youare everything I hold special, Youare everything to me,
For youare my very sunlight, I've gained life from thee.
And as this life grows more complex, my love grows deeper to,
For although it grows upon my soil, it still depends on you.
It's conquered every surface, and filled all my seas.
But life despises vacuums, and like a pile of leaves,
Blows out in all directions, it is shortly off to Mars,
So some day this life filled planet, may take life to stars.
In the distant future, a billion years away,
There shall come a time of morning, you need not feel dismay.
For your fire shall be exhausted, and you will swell in size,
Until I reach your mantle, for this I claim my prize.
I would rather be a part of you, and to be no more.
Than to be a lifeless planet, with a lifeless core.
Haven't written in ages so I'm quite rusty, this is my second attempt at writing an opening paragraph (also my second time posting this lol). I need people to tell me my mistakes and if this would catch your interest or not. Thank-you ~
Blood roared in my ears and ice cold air pierced my lungs. I was being chased by several trained warriors who were all after my blood. I was already running as fast as I could, but the distance between me and the warriors was slowly shortening. I had already abandoned my sword a while back. It was just a dead weight considering I couldnat fend of five, maybe more, warriors. a?Faia!a? someone shouted my name from not too far away. Relief swept through my body, but quickly vanished. An arrow flew past my head, missing me by a hair. Panic seeped through my tired body and my kneeas started to buckle underneath me. a?Stay strong!a? I mentally screamed at myself. I pushed my exhausted body upright and sprinted in the direction of whom ever called my name.
I am replacing the piston on a saw. The new piston has an arrow head on the piston crown. I assume it is denoting a direction of fitment, anybody any idea which way the arrow should be pointing i.e Exhaust or carburettor.
The Emerald Dragon
a?a?
The emerald dragon pulls a covered wagon,a?A AAA
across the sagging swamp.a?
Among the reeds and willow trees,a?A AAA
he staggers, sweeps and stomps...a?
O, Mary, Mary, sweet and scary,a?A AAA
meet me there beneath the moon.a?
By the estuary, weall meet sweet Mary, a?A AAA
to steal the dragonas boon.a?
Deep within the night, such a horrid sight,a?A AAA
weare bound to see him soon.a?
Hold me dear and tight, as we prepare to fight,a?A AAA
that ghastly, greedy, goonaa?
Such a vulgar beast, he feeds and feasts,a?A AAA
upon the flesh of loved-oneas lost.a?
We travel from the East, for he expects it least,a?A AAA
surprise shall pay the penance cost.a?
Soft and slow, we creep, to where the dragon sleeps;a?A AAA
doused in dreams heas torn and tossed.a?
My heart begins to leap, as we enter the deep,a?A AAA
to fight the dragon to exhaustaa?
As we approach his lair, shrewd sulfur fills the air,a?A AAA
and the ground beneath us shakes.a?
We sing a quiet prayer, as flames around us flare,a?A AAA
and the emerald dragon wakes!a?
Its massive talons spear, the ground it slept on shears,a?A AAA
and shudders with a quake.a?
We rise to face our fears, wipe all our burning tears,a?A AAA
and charge to plant our final stakeaa?
I take a faithful chance, and with a leaping prance,a?A AAA
I pounced upon his tail.a?
I then take steady stance, and with my trusty lance,a?A AAA
stabbed through the dragonas scales.a?
At that sweet Mary bows, and with her swift arrows,a?A AA
Ashe pierced the dragonas mail.a?
And as the dragon slows, his blood of emerald flows,a?A AA
and he whines his final wailsaa?
The dragon shifts and stirs, his blackened vision blurs,a?A AAA
as I rise to end the deed.a?
The ground digs in my spurs, as I pierce his fur,a?A AAA
and leave him there, stripped bear, to bleed.....a?
Open wide the chests, end this quixotic quest,a?A AAA
in love and land weare bound to lead.a?
We poke, we joke, we jest, we passed this loveras test,a?A AAA
we have strong minds and hearts, indeeda
Iano have you ever met a dragon? Or an emerald one for that matter? Dragons are imaginary and guess what mine does have fur, Im sure if you look at pictures of dragons youd see fur on the tops of some of there heads. Fur can just be a small coat thats what I meant. Any way, boon is a noun meaning a blessing, that is the emeralds on the dragon, theyre are going to steal them. Also, dragons are known to hoard wealth, that would be the blessing they are after. I appreciate it though and I will look into changing "fur" that was helpful thanks. :)
emeralds first definition is as a gem, thats where the color comes from. I gave hint to it first with the word boon, in this case meaning a treasure, also with the comment "leave him there, stripped bear", wrong it should be "bare" sorry again, thanks for helping me examine it closer. But as far as shrewd sulfur, taken as "sharp" not as if relates usu as practical or clever. Do you suggest a diff. word? Which? Again the English language is full of second and thrid definitions and can be twisted to different contexts. But there needs to be a one syllable word that goes there that preferably one that starts with an s. You have to be able to be flexible with definitions with poetry, hell poets before me have made up words or shortened them to fit their meters, ie o'er instead of over, what the hell is that? Thanks though, constructive criticism is what I was looking for, I never liked that use of shrewd, but its the best I can do for now, if you have a suggestion lay it on me.
Are you English or something btw, your spelling of the word colour, leads me to believe you are. If so, sorry I speak American, not necessarily English, they could be a little different in some respects.
Ok, I understand, but you cant expect me to explain the creature in the fullest detail its not pertinent, just that he has emeralds on his body is enough, The dragons suppose to be symbolic. You know the dragon can move bc its obvious it can through it actions. I see your point I just wish I had some other opinions, to either, bolster your point or negate it. Anyways, thanks, do you have any poetry creditials?
I'M JUST ABOUT TO FIT A NEW MID Y-PIPE CATALYTIC CONVERTER ELIMINATOR TO MY ARROW EXHAUSTS BUT THERE IS NO HOLE IN IT FOR THE LAMBDA SENSOR, DOES THIS MATTER

I used to own this little treasure, kids and lack of cash forced sale. Reg. number was BMF 888? Lowered front axle, Bowdenex brake conversion on front axle. Yellow wheels? Hill climb back axle ratio, would do 60 flat out up hill! Ali head, separate banana branch exhaust manifold, SU down or side draught carb. I have the photos of her stripped right back to the chassis still. Red arrow acroos the radiator in homage to Arrow works. Anyone have any info?
How this Q. of mine got into boats and boating is beyond me. Perhaps some body from Answers can tell me how to change the category, I have triesd and cannot see how to do this, it meant to be in cars, NOT BOATS!
so im gonna buy an arrows exhaust for my aprilia do i also need the expansion chamber??? i.e the bit from manifold to exhaust or just the exhaust pipe??? i don't intend to mess about with the electrics! im not cutting and snapping any circuit boards! i want to make close to 33bhp!
Im a 13 year old male, and have started an interest in writing. Ive always been into robin hood, so i started writing this, 1-10 tell me honestly what you think about this first chapter.

The tale of Robin Hood
Chapter 1
The icy, bitter cold winds felt like knives on Robin Hoodas exposed face. She looked down from the mountain, seeing her village dreaming of her nice warm beda Her longbow and quiver of arrows were digging into her shoulders and her feet felt like they were going to fall off, it had been days since she had eaten. Luckily she had found some edible roots and berries three days past. The path was icy and the winds were howling and blowing fiercely threatening to plow her off the path, that she was already having difficulty staying steady on. Her band of few people that had stayed with her consisted of only 3 men, Solomon, Bolton, and Barthello. It had been 2 weeks since they set off from home, to find and slay the dragon. She knew her father would not be happy when he figured out she had disobeyed him. He never aloud her to even leave the courtyard, let alone to fight a dragon. But the dragon will have been slayed, how could he still be mad at her after she brought home the dragons head? After 2 days of going through the mountains, they reached a small cave opening. They all knew they must have been close to the dragon because it was an almost instant climate change, from icy bitter cold now to a warm and cozy den, the dragon must be near Robin thought. a?Weall rest here Robina? Barthello said setting down his pack. a?Iam exhausted!a? a?Too bad! We cant afford to stop here when were so close!a? Robin said picking up his fallen pack and throwing it at him a?Move!a?
XL500 Honda thumper piston ring installation going on here. The shop manual shows the honda piston has an arrow that reads "in" and points to the intake side. I pulled the head off and found a wiseco piston that points toward the exhaust or front of bike. Was the piston installed backwards ? Or just USA thinking compared to metric thinking.
I need a replacement standard exhaust front pipe/chamber, but finding a new one is tricky and I don't want a third party performance exhaust like an Arrow etc. Also I could do with a Fenda extenda or similar for this bike, but am not sure which one would fit as the company that makes them, doesn't have one specific to the Planet. Any ideas?
Cheers
or even used, i don't mind as long its in good nick. Cheers. Dave
i was looking to get a full arrow exhaust system A?250, and a K&N air filter for my 125 cc motorbike. was wondering, will this affect the fuel consumption? Also, will it increase the power noticeably and is it worth the A?300 i would have to spend?
I am think of the Spartans defending the pass with their 300. But they had another 4 or 5 thousand helping them. Not given enough credit in the Spartan wake. The Persian Army under Xerxes is said to have numbered 600,000. But some say the army may have been as much as 2 million. With those numbers, good as the Greeks might have been, the Persions should have won simply with a continued attack which would exhaust the Greeks to the point they could not hold a weapon or even stand. This is not an isolated case either Romans, Mongols and others had similar actual wins over a superior number (Spartans lost but Greeks won the naval battle and sent the Persians home, though not before burning Athens) Yes, I know the Spartans had heavier armor and defended a pass so narrow that only about 3 could pass at a time. But the Persians had great bows capable of 200 yards and could fire accurately coming or going on horseback. And an arrow capable of 200 yards fired at 50 yards is pretty certain to.
... Particularily some Roman victories when vastly superior forces encountered. Knowing what the Romans would hold in store for you if you lost and still lived would be a big motivator to fight to death.
An added note about the Persians vs the Spartans. Those Persian archers were skilled enough to rapidly fire two arrows very close together. One directly at target another lobbed in from high. Shields could only deflect on of the arrows. Now 2 to 1 odds I can comprehend. But when it's 10, 20, 30 or more to 1 it is so incredible. Yet I have little doubt the events happened, though exaggerated a tad.
My Cagiva Raptor 125cc has a split in the exhaust just after the box going right round the circumference of the pipe. I am going to get an arrow exhaust in a few weeks so just need a temporary repair until I have the cash for the new exhaust. I've been looking and there are lots of products on the market - Halfords do an exhaust repair kit and Holts seem to have several options. Which is the best to go for?

Acid rain is a serious environmental problem that can kill plants and fish, ruins statues, corrode metals, and damage buildings. Acid rain is a result of sulfur dioxide gas in the atmosphere combining with water vapor to form sulfurous acid. The predominant source of sulfur dioxide in the atmosphere is from the burning of coal at power plants to generate electricity. Coal is about 2% sulfur by mass. One method of removing sulfur dioxide at power plants before it is released into the atmosphere is through the use of "scrubbers." A scrubber is a filter-like device placed in the smoke stack exhausts that chemically binds the sulfur dioxide into a harmless solid product before it is released into the atmosphere. The active chemical used in scrubbers is lime. Look up the chemical formula of lime and write the balanced equation between sulfur dioxide and lime that occurs inside scrubbers. Be sure to include the physical states of all the compounds in your answer and use a greater than sign > as an arrow in your equation, for example: 2 H2 (g) + O2 (g) > 2 H2O (l).
I have recently bought a 2001 reg 748 R Ducati motorbike and it has carbon arrow exhaust. Is this standard or could it have been added after market?
