I'm looking into getting the barrel of my 92fs beretta threaded to hold a silencer. Is the accuracy of the gun affected after the barrel is threaded and the silencer is not attached? I'm thinking about getting a separate barrel if so.

a�?Oh this is too easy.a�� Zeke thought as he walked half a block behind the man. His eyes kept the man in view and as they walked into a darker less up kept area, Zeke increased his pace, smelling the air. He could already smell the humans blood. He neared the man and then the drunk stopped suddenly. Zeke did not stop but slowed down. The man suddenly ran into an alley and Zeke heard the signs on vomiting. Zeke cringed. He hated killing guys like these and preferred the women, but there had been no single women in the bar and this guy would thank him. He neared the alley and looked in. There was almost no light, but darkness was his home and he could see perfectly. The man was hunched behind some garbage cans and Zeke walked in to make his kill.
Suddenly the drunk man whipped around. A small black object in his hand leveled on Zeke, and a early audible whizzing noise came and a pain shot through Zekea��s abdomen. a�?Hea��s got gun!a�� Zeke thought, jumping back and evading another bullet. He slipped out of the alley and leaned against the wall. He looked at the injury nd felt it burning and saw it had no healed yet. a�?Silver,a�� he thought, a�?hea��s using silver bullets!a�� Silver was like poison to vampire and was one of a few things that stalled their healing.

The shape rose from the ground. It resembled a wolf, if wolves grew to almost the size of car and had forelegs that bent like a humana��s. Ita��s enormous head was framed with a large grey mane and spotted with bright, almost glowing, yellow eyes. Ita��s fangs were bared in a vicious growl and it was crouched low like a cat ready to leap.
a�?A werewolf too? Great.a�� He thought. The beast glared at him and Zeke knew there was one way out of this. The wolf leaped at him, his large claws stretched out to shred Zekea��s head in ita��s grasp. Zeke slipped forward and threw a solid strike with his palm to the monsters open chest. There was a slight crunch and it flew back, tumbling. The human exited the alley and turned to Zeke, raising the black handgun, complete with a silencer tube on the barrel.
Zeke, while angry, still needed the blood this solder had. As the man leveled his gun, Zekea��s left hand shot out, and a bolt of blue electricity fired from it, colliding with the soldera��s gun. He shook for a moment and collapsed to the ground. Zeke could still hear his heart and turned his focus back to the werewolf, who was rising to its feet. a�?Go home, puppy.a�? Zeke said coldly. Sparks of bright blue cracked from his body. a�?Your out of your league.a�?
The wolf growled and began a slow walk into the street, as if trying to circle his prey. Then it leaped and slashed at Zeke again. Zeke held his ground, blocking the attack, he grabbed the wolfa��s head and slammed it into the ground, causing the ground to crack under the immense pressure. In a flashy movement, he drew a foot long silver blade from the back of his belt. He raised the weapon overhead and brought it down the beasts back ita��s left side.
The wolf howled in pain and struggled to free itself, but Zeke held it fast and it could not escape. Ita��s thrashings quickly stopped and it was still. Then, the hair of the monster faded, its wolf face retracted to reveal a man in his thirties, and the body slowly phased back to a human, wearing nothing but blood.
He turned back to the human he had left. The man had risen up and retrieved his gun. Zeke faked to the left and tried to approach on the mana��s left but a bullet hit him and caused him to stop. a�?Hea��s too fast for a human.a�� He thought. Then it clicked. a�?Youa��re a craft user arena��t you?a�? He said.
a�?yepa�? the man replied, his gun trained on Zeke. a�?I can read your pathetic mind and know every move your gonna make.a�? He finished with a grin. a�?want to just give up?a�? he pulled a long silver knife from his coat and kept the gun level.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Gang Unit seized dozens of high-powered weapons and arrested 11 mena��three of them Bell Gardens residentsa��on Sept. 24; they face federal charges for trafficking weapons and drugs following a nine month investigation.
Two Bell Gardens half-brothers, Henry a�?Silenta�? Valenzuela, 37, Sergio a�?Lil Silenta�? Calderon, 23, and their stepfather, Javier a�?Padrastroa�? Avila Lopez, 49 of Watts, are identified as heads of a�?Barrio Evil 13a�? in a sworn affidavit by a federal ICE agent.
An undocumented immigrant and Bell Gardens resident, Everado a�?Laloa�? Venegas-Lumbreras, 38, was also arrested. He was allegedly a a�?runnera�? for Lopez and transported and delivered narcotics and firearms. Lumbrerasa�� has an outstanding deportation order dating back to 1999.
The investigation is part of an ongoing initiative by ICEa��s National Gang Unit, a�?Operation Community Shield,a�? which investigates transnational street gangs conducting crime in the U.S. and other countries, according to an ICE statement and the affidavit.
Dozens of high-powered weapons, including assault rifles, handguns, silencers, a shotgun and thousands of rounds of ammunition were seized at four locations where search warrants were served, federal officials said.
The affidavit listed Valenzuelaa��s home in the 6600 block of Ajax Avenue, Calderona��s residence in the 5800 block of Gage Avenue and a warehouse in the 7500 block of Scout Ave. where additional illegal weapons were found, according to Dixon.
ICE Spokesperson Virginia Kice told EGP that the gang is based in South Los Angeles, a�?but several of the members do currently reside in Bell Gardens.a�?
According to the affidavit, Valenzuela claimed to be a hit-man for a Tijuana Cartel and said he had been paid $15,000 for a a�?hita�? in Barstow, California on Sept. 2. He also allegedly tried to recruit an undercover investigator to carry out a�?hitsa�? in the Los Angeles area for $5,000 to $10,000. Valenzuela said he had six more murders-for-hire in Los Angeles still to carry out.
Valenzuela has a criminal record dating back to 1999 that includes arrests for vandalism and possession of a controlled substance. He was charged in 2007 with assault with a deadly weapon, but was not convicted.
His younger half-brother, Calderon, was acquitted of the same assault charge. In 2003 he was arrested by Vernon police for vandalism, but was not convicted, according to the affidavit.
Valenzuela and Caldrona��s stepfather, Lopez, was arrested in 1999 for Shooting at a Dwelling, and later convicted of Discharging a Firearm in Public.
Lopez allegedly told an informant that he smuggled undocumented immigrants and made frequent trips to Mexico to escort a�?load vehiclesa�? across the border. He said he charged $2,500 per person.
The three men are accused of acquiring and distributing narcotics (cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine) and firearms in Los Angeles and Bell Gardens.
a�?The gang members and associates charged in this criminal complaint are alleged to have trafficked not just in drugs, but in weapons, and not just any weapons, but weapons clearly intended for criminal conduct, including an AK-47 assault rifle, a Tec-9 sub-machinegun, a MAC-11 sub-machinegun, and a sawed-off shotgun,a�? said Acting U.S. Attorney George S. I'm writer who mostly writes scripts and other things of the sort, I like "true to life" details in my stories but I need some help. I'm currently writing my first full length novel and in the process I've discovered that I need a list of some guns and the bullets they shoot.
The story takes place between 1993 and 1997, so first off I need guns that existed before that period. I'm mainly looking for a strong handgun that would fit a silencer and the size bullet that it would shoot, any street names for the gun would be helpful also. I'm also open to any other suggestions, I welcome all handguns, machine guns, semi-auto guns, whatever else you can think of. I'm looking for any style gun that would be available to everyone and not ones that would be easily traced. The guns themselves don't have much bearing on the story itself but I believe it's the little details that make a good story.
I'm going to research any suggestions but anything that could at least lead me in the right direction would be welcome. If you're in law enforcement and wouldn't mind answering some questions for me from time to time, I'll give you a mention in the book...

I know that you can legally purchase a permit to buy a sound suppressor from ATF and that you must have a permit for each silencer you buy, I want to know if it is legal or not to carry concealed your legal handgun with Concealed weapons permit with your silencer attached to that same pistol, so long as you have both your concealed weapons card & ATF certification for a silencer on hand?

Jack smashed the window of the truck then hot-wired it. There was a tunnel near-by, so Jack decided to park the truck there. Jack sprinted away from the truck, then it blew up.

After Jacka��s firing, he decided to join the US MI5. His first mission there seemed tough. He had to assassinate the US president, but the president wasna��t really the president, he was a terrorist from Al Qaeda, sent to destroy America.
For this mission, Jack got to choose some gadgets of his choice. He chose a handgun, an SVD, an M2 Flamethrower, grenades and an RPG-7.
Jack was booked into the Hilton Washington. He took his favourite car- the Lamborghini Gallardo.
At the reception desk he got checked into the Presidential Suite at the top of the hotel. a�?Classy place,a�? Jack said. a�?I could get used to this.a�? He put his room key in the keyhole, but something wasna��t right, the door was already unlocked. Usually hotel room doors were locked. He steadily walked in and sat his bang on the king-sized bed.
Someone whacked Jack across the back of his head. He stumbled to the ground in pain. He got turned around but kicked the attacker in the stomach. Jack got up and thrust the palm of his hand into the attackera��s face, grabbed him by the neck and put him in a choke-hold until the attacker was dead.
The unknown attacker was wearing a full face mask. Jack ripped off the mask and the attacker looked somewhat like Al Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden. Jack quickly phoned MI5 to inform them of what happened. He was asked to keep a lookout on the White House. To do this he had to climb to the roof of the Hilton and use either binoculars or the sniper he picked up a couple of days ago.
It was hard getting to the roof. Jack had stealthily sneaked past eightsecurity guards and knocked out two, but he had eventually got to the top. He decided to use the SVD to the binoculars to lookout the White House. He kept track of the a�?presidentsa�� doings on a PDA. There was no ammunition in the sniper, incase Jack accidently shot. At the moment, the President was talking to his wife.
Jack decided to throw a grenade to distract the attention of the White House guards. Immediately, all attention was moved from the White House so Jack used the x20 scope to get a view of the President. There was a guard blocking the window last time. Jack could see clearer that the President was holding an M4 Custom in his hand. Not right.

Jack got out his binoculars and looked outside. Everything seemed normal- dogs urinating on the street, people walking, but there were three men packing explosives into a truck. Jack picked up his handgun and a silencer. He jumped out the window onto a balcony then jumped the remaining fifteen storeys and landed in a huge pile of sand. Jack sprinted to the truck whilst attaching the silencer to the handgun. He got to the truck and shot the three men. He then closed the back of the truck and broke into the drivers seat. He hotwired the big eighteen wheeler and drove off. He parked in a dark alleyway and bolted to safety. The huge eighteen wheeler blew up and made a huge smoke cloud in the sky.

I heard somewhere that if you apply for a special license and pay an extra $200 fee you could legally own a fully automatic handgun, but I am very skeptical. Also are silencers illegal and if so is there any way to apply for a special license to legally own them?

I have a few questions about sniper rifles. I just got into them so I'd love to know a lot about them.
Why does a sniper rifle have a really long barrel compared to a handgun that has a super small barrel?
On the stock or butt of the rifle, why do most have a giant hole in the middle of it?
Are there sniper rifles that can be silent? In other words, are there silencers for sniper rifles?
Now because I just got into them, I would love to get a BB gun version. I am most interested in the L96 AWP (Arctic Warfare Police) or L96 AW SM (Arctic Warfare Super Magnum). Though I think the only BB gun type is the L96 AWP. Anyway, I don't know what website to get it from. I've looked at SpeedyToys, AirSplat, and Airsoft GI. I find that Airsoft GI has it for the cheapest, but I need more reviews to know what website is trusty or reliable. Or if you can suggest any websites, that's cool too. Thanks!

5. Gold Desert Eagle- No need for overkill with this handgun because its a 2-3 hit kill with Stopping Power. You just need to know how to use it and then its absolutely beast gun.
4. G3 (Silencer, UAV Jammer, Dead Silence, Bandolier, Red Tiger) Great gun with RDS too and i love it for my stealth gun because i can shoot the whole clip in like 3-4 seconds and has no recoil.
3. AK-47 (Red Dot Site, Bandolier, Stopping Power, Martyrdom, Golden) I love this gun. Its very powerful and has decent fire rate. Its a 2 hit kill with Stopping Power and is a very good gun for medium range.
2. M4 Carbine (Silencer or Red Dot Site, Bandolier, Stopping Power, Dead Silence or Deep Impact, Red Tiger) Very very solid gun. can be used for any range and has great accuracy, fire rate, and mobility. No recoil at all so u just need to aim and shoot!

What cant you say about this gun. its way more powerful then the R700 (even though they say there the same there not) good accuracy i think and you dont even need stopping power for it its still a 1 hit kill most of the time! it can be used as a pistol with Bandolier and u can shoot it rapidly with steady aim. Good at getting double kills.

I am wanting to find something like a desert eagle or something else with power that will take a silencer and most of the technologies available to handguns: lasers, lights, etc... I have sorta escaped from one but my friends I was coming back from the beach with three of my friends. All three of them were on the high school football team big guys 6'3 black and im the only hispanic sitting at 5"11. partying coming back to my house around 2:45 am we chilled infront of my house for about 10 min and said our goodbyes to go home and sleep. one second passes and my friend spots a car and says it looks suspicous because he passed us before. He came again and the driver turned off the headlights, and one tall black guy came out of the back seat with a gun. "If you run I will shoot get on the ground or ill pop you give me all you got" my three friends who are big guys quickly got on the ground. He had a silencer type of gun with a long barrel, handgun. as soon as he checks my friends, Im the only one who got up and ran to my backyard he didn't check me though he stole over 1000 from all my friends jewerly and cash. Though me I ran and hid in a bush. Scary experience!

And would a silencer with a gun that can shoot underwater make any difference with the a gun that can shoot underwater but without a silencer? I mean, is there any difference in audibility for both silencered and not silencered to be heard above the water?
I know that gunpowders won't explode if they're wet. But what if you use propellant powder then?
Like spraying the FiveseveN (the model with the sub-machine gun bullets) handgun and it's magazine and silencer with metallic blue-green car paint and maybe paint on some designs like hearts and stars just.
And maybe completely spraying the bullets (just the tip of it since the other half of the bullet are just full of propellant powder and would just drop on the floor) with an exact blood red colored paint so that it would be hard for the medic or guy to pluck out the bullet since he won't be able to see the usual brass color that bullets have and so therefore he'll have a hard time trying to find the bullet. He might think that it's just blood or a muscle but it's actually the bullet.
Of course, the spraying would only be external. I'm not gonna like, spray paint inside the barrel and springs or something.
Well, duh! The bullet wound would be very obvious to spot. What I meant was that the blood red colored bullet would be difficult to spot when you flashlight "peep" down the deep bullet wound since you won't see the brass colored object, as you usually would, down the gunshot wound hole since it's exactly red blood colored.
Actually, this FiveseveN gun model is a handgun but it has sub-machine gun bullets. It can carry up to 20 rounds in the magazine and of course 1 in the chamber.
And, ya, whatever kind of pain...still same question, would that type of paint have any bad effects to the handgun?
People, main point of the question is that "Would spraying car paint on a bullet, silencer, magazine and handgun have any bad effects to it's performance?".......please don't concentrate with the bullet wound with the blood red bullet in it part.
And are there silencers that are made of harder metal than stainless steel? Like tungsten or depleted uranium? So that the harder and heavier it is, the better the damage, even after emptying all your bullets, you could use the silencer as a blunt weapon...of course, with the empty gun as another blunt weapon on the free hand. You could do that if you practice Silat Suffian Bela Diri and Arnis or something.
Is it possible that a silencer can be made out of something else instead of stainless steel? How about using tungsten or depleted uranium to make a silencer? And does it matter what material it is made of? Like, if it's made of aluminum, it makes the noise less audible than if it is made of steel or something?

I looked through their site, and at first it looked like this was gonna be just airsoft guns, but it doesn't mention airsoft anywhere, only .25 (and .25acp specifically in a few places) which is not airsoft caliber. So am i to understand this site would allow an 18 year old to order a full auto .25acp UZI with silencer for $100 after you add ammo, and legally do whatever they want with it? I mean sure .25acp is not a very lethal round, about like a .22short, but still, an automatic firearm is still an automatic firearm, so how is this not a huge federal crime to be selling automatic handguns to people under 21 with no FFL license requirement on the shipping?
Why did i post this in hunting? Well i've tried posting gun questions in general outdoors with very little result compared to the hunting section (where all the gun guys browse). I admit i believe the Hunting section should be just hunting, but i also believe it is the most appropriate area currently for gun questions, until they create a seperate "shooting sports" group in outdoors for something to cover target shooting, paintball and airsoft, and everything else that currently has to answer under Hunting although it really shouldn't.

I have some rifles that i enjoy shooting in my rural Iowa backyard, as well as in the near future planning on getting a Tactical USP45 handgun, which already comes with a threaded-end barrel and raised sights, ready for a supressor. I had always dismissed the supressors i'd seen in gun magazines or on gun auction sites, assuming you would need to have an FFL to posess one (i understand though that anything like that will need to be shipped to an FFL, i have a friend with one for that) but lately on here i have seen people talk as though a simple $200 tax stamp allowed a 22 year old USA citizen such as my clean-criminal-record self to then purchase a professionaly built silencer/supressor for my firearms (most likely just the USP to start) since while i always use hearing protection, it would be nice if i didn't HAVE to (bad ear though mandates it with anything louder than .22LR).
So where would i start in trying to facilitate my owning a silencer? And i'm not building one! Naughty!
And yes i understand that the effects are not anything like hollywood portrays, but i'm just saying that if there was a way i could have a silenced USP45 that allowed me to shoot in my yard (i have enough room to set up some cardboard targets for a tactical course, i know of some people in town who are really into this stuff also). I have a weak left eardrum that pops for a few hours if i shoot anything from a .38sp or .223rem or larger, so if i could reduce my .223 or a .45acp to being a sound closer to that of a .22LR or .17HMR, then i can safely fire without hearing protection.
I'm not going to be heartbroken if this is a next-to-impossible kind of thing, where if i'd be better off trying to get an FFL license first is the amount of work it takes, i can just settle with not having one. I primarily just want it for putting on the Tactical USP45 for the sake of it then being more unique, cool, and more of a militaria sort of thing in regards to collecting guns. Like how it's cool to have a bayonet for a gun you probably would only use for hunting deer (like a G3 .308)
Are the laws different for different states?
