My estranged husband is a narcissist. A real full-blown narcissist (of course undiagnosed, as N's are rarely diagnosed). He was horribly mentally/emotionally abusive to myself and our toddler daughter before he left us for the affair he'd been having with a girl 10 years younger than himself. He has since cut down the voluntary support he was paying without notice by hundreds per month, refuses to sign anything enabling me to get assistance, and is forbidding me from moving out of state (I have family in different states, and a fiancee in the military whom I would like to marry and move to). He doesn't want to spend time with our daughter beyond 7 non-consecutive hours per week. He won't take her for weekends although that was our original custody order which is still in place until the new one goes through (we separated 2 years ago briefly and reconciled...never called off the order). He is living with his girlfriend with whom he competes in cosplay events dressed up like Anime cartoon characters (he is in his mid-30's). He already had a psych-eval and despite elevated levels, pathology was not diagnosed as it was done by a social worker and not a psychiatrist. I had a PFA order against him also 2 years ago.
His father has threatened and attempted suicide multiple times. Himself, his girlfriend, and his parents make multiple trips past my house to check out what I'm doing, who is here, what I'm doing, etc...
I need to get myself and my daughter somewhere safe. I'm actually still afraid of this man, but everything I have, I think, is hear-say. I have no money for a lawyer and legal aid won't help with divorce. Is there any way that all of this would add up to me being able to marry and move (after divorce is final, of course) or at least get to my family for support? I have no one at all here, not even friends...only his family. Most of them have been very supportive as he has been really horrible to our daughter and me, but I need my support system, and so does my child.

I have a one and a half year old daughter. She is the complete joy of my life, but lately she has completely changed. I know she is just a child, but I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm currently 9 wks pregnant and I honestly think from all the stress and aggrivation I have to deal with, with my daughter is going to lead to either a misscarriage or other complications. Even before I got pregnant she was like this. She tairs and breaks anything she can get her hands on. As much as I beg her and disipline her to clean up after herself she still doesnt. I can clean her room, and 5 mins later she will go destroy it, completely! Me & her daddy can tell her to stop, or leave something alone and she will just laugh and go back to it. But she is nothing like this with her grandparents ( her father's parents ) and I don't get it. I always try to talk to her, play with her, give her lil snacks when she does something good, and even let her watch cartoons. I displine her, and I show no pitty with it. my son is my second child. It's his first. He does great with my daughter, who's about four now and he always has. He does a good job at playing with other kids and he likes watching the cartoons with them and everything, he's a great father.
But when it comes down to our son who is six months old he has no idea what to do with him, because in my husbands mind all he does is "poop, pee, eat, sleep, crawl, and cry".

I have a vague remembrance of a cartoon movie possibly from the 90's, about a girl who lives with her father, I think maybe she's a princess in a castle. Her father meets some kind of a tall green guy out in the woods who wears this red rose (later on in the movie it turns out to be his heart or something so if you pluck the rose he dies). This tall green guy wants this man's daughter (can't remember why) and in a dream the father agrees or signs some contract or something... so the daughter/princess wakes up in the morning to find that her room was overgrown in this green guy's vines and leaves and stuff which becomes a cage. He kidnaps her and takes her to live with him in the forest or something... but that's all I can remember. :P

I am an active bilingual Spanish/English (I can read, write and speak). I was born in the states and we constantly moved back and forth so I spent many years of my childhood in Central America where my parents are from. At home, my mother would solely speak Spanish and my father would speak English but they would speak Spanish to each other.
I have a fiancee who only speaks English and since birth I have spoken to my daughter who just turned 2 1/2 in Spanish and English. I know that the one parent one language method is best but its not feasible in my household b/c I don't want my fiancee to feel left out ( my father never felt left out b/c he spoke the native language to my mother but English to us). So for my fiance not to feel weird at home I spoke to her in English around him and in Spanish when he was not home.I still exposed my daughter to Spanish but she wasn't exposed to it at the same amount as English.
Logically my 2 year old strongest language is English but I feel she is not progressing in her Spanish. She can say words, and understands what I am saying (for the most part sometimes she looks perplexed) but she has not been able to form sentences and display the same amount of fluidness as in English.
I live in a white community where diversity, including linguistic diversity is rare so I find it difficult to speak Spanish to her while we are outside the home. My hispanic friends use English primarily and I don't have any family here in the states where I can surround my daughter with Spanish at least when we visit. As a previously stated I grew up speaking Spanish with my mother and English with my father so my mother whom I spoke only Spanish to my entire life passed away shortly before my daughter's birth. Aside from the grief, this left me with no one to speak Spanish to on a regular basis and I even feel my own language skills are deteriorating because I have no one to practice Spanish with. I try to read in Spanish and even read to my daughter in Spanish but she doesn't seem to understand because she quickly loses interest. I listen to Spanish radio while driving so she hears it then. I tried spanish cartoons but she loses interest and walks away. She answers in English when I speak to her in Spanish because her Spanish is not strong enough. I have tried repetition and songs but she prefers English which makes sense b/c I am the only one in her life that Speaks Spanish since she doesn't see my father that often b/c he works.
I refuse to let my child be one of those Hispanics that can't speak a lick of Spanish but I do not live in a community that fosters that nor do I have the support to continue with her bilingualism.I feel like I am failing her, should I just forget about being considerate to my English speaking fiance and his family and just try the one parent one language method? Remember she just turned 2 1/2 today..Any advice from parents of bilingual children? Please no rude comments.
Its not even an option for my fiance to speak Spanish, we've been together for 4 years and he is language challenged; I have never met anyone else with this problem. It took me 4 entire years and all he knows is "cafe con azucar por favor"..He is so language challenged that both his H.S. Spanish and French teachers came to the consensus that he was a lost cause for languages.
We have lived together for almost 4 years in a 1 bedroom loft apartment with him, myself and my son.To be able to keep his job we have to stay in the apartment (rent free). My boyfriend said he wont choose between me and his kids, and he is going to have them at our house whenever he wants. He said that is the reason that him and his previous girlfriend broke up. Am I being a bitch?

Why is it that there is so much proof to people that certain things are bad? Yet people go and do the same exact things that cause the pain. People know that they are drinking mind altering substances and say sorry after they, a�?unintentuallya�?, rape someone and say sorry when they wake up. They know that smoking pot is illegal but wonder why they get arrested for possession.
Pot is called the gateway drug and people that do it dona��t believe it to be true. I for one know that it is. Especially since a good friend of mine said he would only smoke weed after he got out of this lockdown facility we were in. An hour after he left he stole someonea��s pills and got high. A year later he was found dead in an alley from a heroin overdose. That is just one of three that I know. Then there was a girl that pulled a gun and shot her boyfriend in the eye. He is my friend and has emotional problems because he cana��t see out of that eye. People even had the nerve to make fun of him for that.
Then there are the kids that dona��t see what good their parents do for them. Kids cana��t wait till they turn eighteen, so they can move out. When they do, they see what was so hard for their parents. Parents buy all the food, they buy the clothes, they teach you to be accountable, they pay the house bill, they take you to the places you ask them, and they pay for your medical. All they ask in return is to follow some rules, do some chores, and show some respect.
The violence in this world is awful. Kids find it funny when they see a video of a homeless guy getting the life beat out of him. There are violent cartoons where their heads get ripped off and the kids laugh at that. People bully the people that cana��t defend themselves or the people that wona��t. I was bullied all my life and there was only two occasions that I either fought someone or bullied back. The first was a short girl kept calling be fat so I got tired and called her a midget. She didna��t talk to me for three months. Then we became friends. Then second is a similar scenario. A guy made fun of me for being physically slow and fat. I told people I was going to fight him on the last day of school. And I did and he ran away in fear. We never talked again. Neither I enjoyed too much but I got what I wanted. The rap artists dona��t help when they make songs how they raped girls and how girls are just meant to have sex and they call them BI***ES. Then the girls are too blind to see that they are being insulted. I keep hearing stories of girls getting raped and they cana��t live with themselves. She hated it because she feared that no guy would want her because of it and she was the one that didna��t want it.
The teenage girls now a day feel that in order to have friends they need to have sex. When they have sex they enjoy it so they do it for pleasure. But the very second they find out they have a STD or that they are pregnant, they all the sudden take it serious. This paragraph is about the thieves we had in our time. I went to a government ran school and you had to lock up your toothpaste in your locker or someone would steal it. One person was caught stealing $500.00 worth of electronics and they did not convict him or expel him. Over $100.00 is a felony and this if $400.00 more at a government paid facility. I am dating a man who has a 3 year old daughter. I have been with him since just before she turned two. I work during the week and then spend the weekends at his home and usually on saturday's while he is at work, I watch his daughter. The day usually starts very early in the morning with her waking up around 6 and screaming bloody murder for her father. Usually I abruptly wakeup and run into her room because I think something is wrong, and as soon as I open the door she stops screaming and is sitting in her bed playing and laughs. I tell her that she cannot scream like that and lately ive been ignoring it for a long time before going in after her but she won't stop. After she has eaten breakfast I put on some cartoons for her while I read or do some computer work. She brings her toys into the living room and plays while she watches, but that only holds her attention for about half an hour. Then she spends her time doing EVERYTHING she knows she isn't suppose to do. I have tried putting her in time out or stoping what I am doing to play with her for a few minutes, or even ignoring her but she keeps behaving badly all day. I feel like all that I do is scold her and punish her when im not playing with her and she is sweet to me sometimes but her bad behavior doesn't improve. And then anytime he is home and he and I spend time together she tries to break us apart. One evening we were sitting next to each other and I had my leg at an angle on the leg rest and she ran her head into my knee purposely and then told her father that I had hit her when clearly I had not. He says that when he is alone with her, she also behaves badly and he has tried the same things I have but we have both run out of patience and solutions. Any suggestions??
We have tried several times to take her out to a movie or dinner or fair but everytime we do she acts horribly. We try to hold her and walk around and she wants to walk but we need to hold her hand or she will run off without us. Especially in a store if I try to hold her hand she twists until she breaks free of me and runs off into an isle and starts knocking things off the shelf, opening things and riping greeting cards. We try to put her in the cart and she screams and cries so loudly we have to leave the store. We do play with her often in the evenings when we are together. During the day it is hard to take her anywhere because I do not have a car. We live in a city, in an apartment, with no parks in walking distance and no public transportation. And honestly, if we tried to take her to the zoo, im afriad she would behave terribly. We keep trying to take her out hoping that maybe the next time she will behave but she just won't even when we punish her.
Whenever we try to color with her she takes the crayons and books away from us and refuses to share and when we take them from her she cries without stopping. And she should be able to play by herself as well. She won't always have a playmate and I can not play with her every second of the day especially when I have things I need to do. I have even tried including her in household chores and she ends up throwing the dishes or chewing on the clean laundry. She is not good with sharing toys and apparently her daycare is having problems with her as well. At daycare she doesn't share with other children and won't listen to directions such as sitting at the table to eat or laying down for naptime.The daycare she attends is exceptional and the staff is amazing with the other children but they seem to be getting just as frustrated as us. Is she just one of those bad kids? Is there something we can do to help her?
I am married with a man who has kids from a previous relationship. I know we all have the tendency to see pretty clearly the faults and disciplinary shortcomings in OTHER people's children and not so much in our own, so seeing as how I am not their mother and they came into my life at relatively "big" little girl ages, I have observed their behavior with a less-than-forgiving perspective. Besides any of the regular "bad behavior" stuff, my husband is basically a wuss about parenting and wants to be their friend more than their dad. He has babied them emotionally very much to the point that they are kind of useless to themselves and others around them. One huge thorn is that they are highly co-dependent on him, and he on them. When they come to visit (every weekend except ONE each month only because I fought for that free weekend), he sleeps with them and I sleep alone in our bedroom. I am always counting down the hours for them to leave because when they are with us, I "lose" my husband. He is very affectionate towards them (nothing weird going on here, I mean just regular dad-daugher affection), and not really at all towards me. It's like the dysfunctional way he was raised has taught him to "give all" for his children, and the sacrifical mother/wife must always settle for being on the sidelines, especially when she is not the mother of his kids. It's like the wife gets treated like a 2nd-class citizen and gets all the crumbs left over after his daughters have gotten what they need from him emotionally. Please don't mistake this for "I'm jealous of his kids." I am frustrated and upset that my husband doesn't know how to balance the scales. He doesn't know how to be a good father to his children and set boundaries, make them understand as all parents must, that he can't keep sleeping with them until they hit puberty (2 of them are pretty close already, 11 years old)! He must also make them understand that there is adult space, time, and privilege, and child space, time, and privilege. They are not the same. Children can't stay up until 2am because daddy does. I have spoken with him about this and he is pretty stubborn and defensive about it as you might expect. I have asked for them to come every other weekend like most kids of separated parents do, and he won't do it. There is always an excuse, a "good" reason. I don't think I'm asking for anything unreasonable or selfish. It has put us on the verge of separation a couple of times now because he can't see that he needs to give his wife her proper place in front of his kids. Oh, besides this, I cook for all, clean up all the time because they don't do it right and he doesn't force them to clean up after themselves before TV or games (I get tired of saying it over and over to them and to him), I pay for EVERYthing because I am the only one employed (going on over 1 year since married he's unemployed), and he spends all the time they are here, watching cartoons with them or doing whatever they want to do, but spends MINUTES out of each day with me. I am ever-frustrated by this, it has improved some but if I were to encourage HIS preferences they would be living in the house I bought long before I married him, eating up all of our food with no consideration for the fact that we don't have a lot of money and I'm paying for everything that they "ask daddy for, " and I'm sick of feeling used and like a convenience to him and to them instead of being appreciated as his wife and woman, and as the provider of everything for everybody. I've tried talking to him and expressing how much this hurts me, how disappointed I am, and what I need from him, but it feels pretty crappy to be arguing with your husband about him wanting to sleep with his kids rather than with you, and to be watching cartoons rather than having a glass of wine with YOU! I feel undesired as a woman because he basically seems indifferent to sacrificing OUR adult, intimate relationship so that the daughters he has raised to be super co-dependent and needy can have their unreasonable needs met on a regular basis. Can someone give me advice other than the obvious counseling or divorce? I already know those and they are options I have seriously considered. Has anyone gone thru this and what was your outcome or how did you deal? I love him for other reasons. He is sweet, gentle, kind, funny, trustworthy, but he's lazy for not getting a job all this time and inconsiderate by bringing his daughters nearly every weekend with no "us" time hardly EVER. What can I do? We have good times, but this is an ongoing issue that always causes tension b/w us - every weekend for sure! BTW, his family totally supports his behavior so I am up against all of them constantly. It is a silent war, but it's war all right.
I have never denied anyone food. It's just that they "scavenge" anything they want like chips and sweets. They eat up these "treats" the same day instead of their dad teaching them to leave some for tomorrow and make stuff last. Sorry if this sounded like I am denying anyone food, I would never do that. I know the budget I have to work with and he doesn't support me in front of them when I know the food will run out if they keep up that pace. I buy them things they like for the days they're here, and they eat it all up the same day, then want more the next day. Doesn't seem fair and he is not teaching them to have manners or value what they receive. They are not too young to NOT understand about basic household things like, "No, you are not allowed to eat the entire bag of chips in one sitting." I am 1 person buying food and paying for all expenses for 5 people. I think that gives me the right to have an opinion about how it is consumed.

I know it's "taboo" to say it, but there can be unhealthy overkill in spending too much time with your kids to the detriment of your adult, intimate relationship with your chosen life partner. I would never do what he's doing. I would want a nice balance b/w my relationship with my kids and with my husband. You don't choose someone to re-make your life only to make them feel like they finished in 2nd or 3rd place. Kids or no kids...

After a very long time, two more twins were born, and from them came all humans (but specifically Persians).

He then split her body in half and used it to create the heavens and the earth. Later he created man to do the drudge work that the gods refused to do, like farming, telemarketing and accounting. Spirits of Ancient Egypt
The ancient Egyptians had several creation myths. All begin with the swirling, chaotic waters of Nu (or Nun). Atum willed himself into being, and then created a hill, otherwise there'd be no place for him to stand. Atum was genderless and possessed an all-seeing eye. He/she spat out a son, Shu, god of the air. Atum then vomited up a daughter, Tefnut, goddess of moisture. These two were charged with the task of creating order out of chaos. Shu and Tefnut generated Geb, the earth, and Nut, the sky. First they were entwined, but Geb lifted Nut above him. Gradually the world's order formed, but Shu and Tefnut became lost in the remaining darkness. Atum removed his/her all-seeing eye and sent it in search of them. (Just how all-seeing it was, and what did Atum do without, remains a mystery.) When Shu and Tefnut returned, thanks to the eye, Atum wept with joy. (Presumably he/she re-inserted the eye first.) Where the tears struck the earth, men sprang up.
South of the Border, Down Mexico Way: The Aztecs
The earth mother of the Aztecs, Coatlicue ("skirt of snakes,") is depicted in a fearsome way, wearing a necklace of human hearts and hands, and a skirt of snakes as her name suggests. The story goes that Coatlicue was impregnated by an obsidian knife and gave birth to Coyolxauhqui, goddess of the moon, and to 400 sons, who became the stars of the southern sky. Later, a ball of feathers fell from the sky which, upon Coatlicue finding it and placing it in her waistband, caused her to become pregnant again. have and issue. My wife (ex soon) and I have two kids 5 and 3 year olds. Ok when my son was 9 months ( the 5 year old) I got laid off from work because I had repeated seizures at work out of no where and they told me I needed disability insurance. I applied for it and got it. So every since then (4 1/2 years ago) I have stayed at home with my kids while my wife went to work basically taken the typical mommy job lol. Anytime they were awake I was there so I have been in there life everyday of it. Im mommy lol. Ok we were scheduled 2 move out of our house and then the wife told me she wanted a separation n wanted 2 move n2 her own apartment basically leaving me. She left me 2 pay all the bills and the last months rent and all of that because she used our money we saved 2 pay that on getting her own apartment. I now live with my mom because I was left with out any money and all the bills of the house 2 pay because they were n my name. She has been a ***** during this whole thing. She has told lies (truly lies) about me repeatedly. My son has started school this week and she has been bringing him back 2 my house after school at around noon. While he has been at school it was the first time me and my daughter has had some one on one time. We have been playing hard because of it. Just doing everything she wants 2 do from tea parties 2 wrestling just everything. We would get wore out and she would want 2 sit down n watch cartoons. Well a Friday when the wife dropped my son off she cam in and me and the lil girl were sleeping cuddled up and everything. She started yelling say I dont need 2 b asleep when she is and im a bad dad because of it doing all of it while im still waking up with my daughter and my son sittin there staring. Since then she said since im such a bad dad that she wasnt gonna let me keep them anymore n just let me see them 1 day a week while she is at work and every other weekend. My question is can she do that after they have grown up with me right there everyday and also if since I have played the typical mommy roll since they were born if I took her 2 court for custody would I have the average mommy chance and pretty much get full custody?? I love my kids with everything and if my visitation got broke down 2 that it would ruin me and the kids. When they leave me they cry and hate leaving me and when she brings them back I have 2 make them give her a kiss bye. She is doing this 2 b mean. I dont care who I piss off I just want my kids. When I was little my family rented a cartoon that was about a king who remarries. His wife turns the sons into swans that fly away. She puts a spell on the daughter that makes her ugly and her father doesn't recognize her. She later finds out to remove her curse and frees her brothers. unfortunately I don't remember the title, but it is a spin-off of the seven or six swans. To think there are real people doing that to women and girls makes me sick. I feel scared just thinking about going to a club or party. Those people are evil and money hungry. i was never one to NOT let my baby girl cry... meaning i wouldnt pick her up as soon as she made a lil crying sound.. i let her whine a bit n stuff.
shes wonderful... i would place at her on the florr at home, give her some treats n she would watch cartoons n shes ok.
when i try n do that at friend's houses or anything shes throws fits...cant put her down for a second... i dunno what to do.
i cant work out at the gym anymore because she will not stop crying when i drop her off at the kids club the gym provides. i bring her lil finger foods... her stroller( supposedly that helps they say) but none of that seems to help.

2009 just has been our (my family's) year. It started when my Grandpa Died January 7th. I probably took it the hardest though. I had never had to experience a loved one die. It hurt us emotionally and financially. We still haven't been able to afford a proper grave marker. We're still struggling financially, and what makes it worse is that my father has been laid off from his Truck Driving job. He got fired over something that was out of his hands. A few months later my boyfriend got in a motorcycle wreck when an idiot ran him off the road into some gravel. He made it out with some nasty cuts and bruises, but Thank God he was okay.
Since about Sept. my friend (:-|) has been living with us. Her mother promised to send us money every month to pay for her daughter. We've only received $150 Since Sept. Our rent alone is $600. She has been my shadow, watching my every move. She only does chores if I do them. Why is that? She always complains about being bored and not having a boyfriend when she is fully capable of going out and meeting people. When I call her on it she says "Well i'm always super busy"...Yeah. My Sister just got out of an abusive relationship. (She's not really out of it, she still talks to him and visits him...sigh) They have a 4 year old together, my niece Amber. Now, me being the Aunt, you could say I have SOME authority over her. Like, if she was getting into things she wasn't allowed to, like my important papers or something, and I tell her no...my sister freaks out. She yells saying "I'm so sick of people telling you no! When i cook meals, we always have to make her something else b/c she wont eat it, when she does eat its not very much and then she wants candy or ice cream,A� she always has to have cartoons on so for the 2 days we have her I am forced to watch cartoons or go in the other room away from everyone.A� The thing is we have a 1 yr old daughter together and I dont want my child raised like that.A� she eats all her food (which is always more then her sister...very sad) she has her shows she gets in the morning but if something is on that we want to watch we do.A� My husband allows this to happen, the eating the candy, cartoons, she doesnt have a bed time she is allowed to play her game boy ALL the time ( she is 7 has major issues reading, cant tie her shoes, or give herself a bath)A� I have talked to my husband about these issues b/c I dont find it fair to my child that her sister is allowed to get away with all that stuff when she cant b/c I dont want her raised that way and he tells me that until I am only allowed to see my child 4 days a month I wouldnt understand how hard it would be to tell her NO.A� PLEASE HELP!!!! any input would be greatly helpful

I have always had a difficult relationship with my father. Ever since I was a child he would hit me and force me into sports. He would drag me to the court to play even if it was late and even if I had school work to do, if I would complain, he would scream and hit me. Eventually I became homeschooled so I could dedicate more time to my sport. This was awful. He would try to sit down with me and help me do my HW, and if I would not do it how he wanted he would get very mad. He even busted my lip once when he punched me in the face.
I remember him abusing my mother when I was younger. My older brother ran away from home and I was the only one left in the house to witness this. He left my mother bloody and battered in the bath tub once. I thought she was dead. I remember running cold water on her because I saw it on the cartoons...thats how young I was. I could not help her at all.
When I was old enough to decide whether I was going to go to college or not, it was a terrible time. I received a scholarship from a very prestigious college. I feel like I should thank him for that, but he didnt want me to go. He told me that I should not go to college because I will become only a whore. He stopped talking to me completely when I did decide to go.
Now I graduated from college, I'm 24 and engaged to a wonderful man. We are expecting our first child but due to his harsh schedule, he is unable to be with me right now. My mother told me it would be good idea for me to move back home so she could take care of me. I did. My father wont let me sleep, he calls me a slut and a whore, tells me he will kick me if I get close to him, and has no respect for me at all, and I dont know what to do, there is no talking to him. My mother works so much, all day, so she is not home much to talk to her, and when she is, he is asleep.
I feel like my family has fallen apart and I dont know why. My brother never wants to be around, I have no idea who anyone else is in my family, and I feel bad when I hear its because they dont want to be around my dad.
I feel like a bad daughter, but I dont understand my own feelings. I dont think I love my father anymore...and it hurts so bad. I want things to be good, but I dont think they ever will be...I'm scared that he just doesnt care.
When my mother took me to a counselor when I was 18, the counselor told me I needed to be out of that house, and my parents got mad at me about what I told the counselor for thinking that...but I only told the truth...I dont know what to do.

My daughter and I watched this series about 9 years ago. The cave boy traveled through time, finding characters with special powers, who affected historical events. His dad's "spirit" was preserved in a lava axe head. The cave boy and a couple of modern children would bring the other characters back to their house and would use them in further adventures. The last thing I remember is that the cae boy was always hungry and couldn't fight unitl he had eaten...

I am looking for a cartoon movie name which i used to see in early 80s. i has Chinese faced characters a Bad White Dragon who has his temple deep in the see. he threaten the emperor for some thing and his son/daughter named Naya or Maya Slashes his on throat to protect his father. A magician gives that character a rebirth and special powers to seek revenge from the white dragon.
May be its Chinese but dubbed in English.

What's the name of the film set in Finland where a dog saves a sick girl. It had an old woman telling her grand daughter about a dog she had which saved her life by finding medicine to cure her and the dog nearly died on many occasions but eventually got the medicine to her father who used it on her. In the end the old woman is walking with her grand daughter in a park and they walk past a statue of her dog and she thanks him for saving her life.
I remember the very beginning and the end was in real life and the story she was telling was in cartoon. I saw it on TV in like 1998 and it was a very sad and amazing film.

I have had two separate incidents in the last few months. I am told that I have offended the parents of two other children because I make a "big deal out of nothing."
In the first incident, a boy who was 4 years old told me that he wanted to "destroy my baby." I told his parents what he said, and I don't know if they did anything about it. The father later told me that this is "normal talk" for little boys becaause they pick this stuff up from cartoons and whatever else they watch.
In the 2nd incident, another 4 year old boy told me that he "hated my baby". I told the mother what he said to me and, again, I was told by others that I make too big of a deal out of things and that I am way too overprotective.
Is this talk really considered "normal"? Am I overreacting? Should I just ignore this kind of talk? I get afraid when a child talks that way because my daughter is not able to defend herself if something were to happen. Maybe these boys don't know what they are saying, but what if they do? I am a first time parent, and I just don't know what is "normal" and what i should take action against.
It is about a family, the father is a scientist/explorer/adventurer, they are in the jungle, the little boy does not talk and the daughter talks to the animals. Oh and they have some sort of pet monkey.

Cartoons are aimed at age group 5-10. Romance in cartoons stories are normal, but hard core sex and Incest relationships are deliberate attempt to pollute the young minds. The biggest concern of every American women is to protect their daughters from her father. Do you want the same thing happen in India. Then be silent and allow your kids watch the cartoons.
Any one can take initiative to find the list of networks and hubs doing this ? It should be prevented before it is too late.
My daughter's 16, she's been having some mental problems since back in november last year, and she was eventually referred to a psychiatrist for evaluation after she self-harmed so badly that she ended up in hospital. He's already diagnosed her with OCD and Bipolar Disorder, but I think she may also have either schizophrenia or multiple personalities. Here are her symptoms:
- Feels like nothing's 'real' or she's in a cartoon.
- Feels like she's outside her body and she can't control what she says or does.
- Part of her is in control while the other part is commenting in her head on what she's doing or telling her to do things (E.g. ''You should go to a toy shop and buy a children's toy'')
- Anxiety, and she's not sleeping well.
- She's losing weight and can only eat certain foods that have been prepared by herself or me (this is why her shrink suggested OCD)
- She has panic attacks if something reminds her of her father (who she was assaulted by in january) E.g. A windscreen wiper noise, an Irish accent.
So, what do you think? I know the psychiatrist's job is to diagnose the problem, but I'd like to go informed about all the possibilities so that I can keep up with what he's saying.

the father had no legs or arms, the sons were siamese twins, the daughter had, i guess, a tumor in her head, and the mother is an alcoholic. It is the first time i saw this show, I am just wondering the name of it. I think it was on Cartoon Network
I'm looking for the name of a fairly tale. I don't remember much about the story but I remember seeing it on television as a kid animated, early 90's I think. What I do remember is there is this young man. For some reason he must live as a homeless man for a certain amount of time. I think 3 years but I don't know the reason. He is not allowed to cut his hair an stuff like that. He meets this man and I think he saves his life or does some great favor for him and this man says he can marry one of his 3 daughters. Two of them are disgusted by his appearance and refuse. But the third daughter feels she owes it to her father to go through with this promise. The main character agrees to this but has to leave. So he breaks the ring he has in half and give one to her. After a period of time he came back rich and good looking. No one recognizes him. He has to prove it is him by showing the half ring to the girl.
If anyones knows the name of this fairy tale or animated movie please let me know.
It was a short animated cartoon. It was about a family with mom, dad, 2 sons, and 1 daughter. They kept seeing Santa but then 2 second later he would be gone. They saw him on a light pole outside. They couldn't find the star for the tree. One night I think one of the sons or father saw his dead grandpa/dad in a dream. He showed him where the star is. I think. I haven't seen this since I was maybe 4 and I am now 24. It just popped in my head the other day and it has been driving me nuts trying to figure out the name of it.
I remember one of the kids jumping on the bed in their room. And one of them hiding their toys under the blanket on the bed.
